When did Friday get lost?

Spoiler alert: I it did not. It just gets a whole lot better. Well at least that is what I hope for. And I am quite confident.

You have signed up at some point to get cocktail and mocktail recipes. Thank you for that and the trust in me sending you these. My goal was and is to send this out every Friday at 11:11 h Hamburg time. And currently that does not happen because all the efforts and time I have go into the development of the new website. It was planned to go faster but then after a few talks and asking people questions I changed things around.

When make 'it slim' got way bigger

You might have seen or know that I run various websites and social channels. Most of them are just in maintenance mode at the moment. And there is a reason for that. They are too much for me to handle. And new ideas coming up all the time pushed me over the edge in terms of being in the position to handle all of it by myself. I do not make any money with my sites as of today, intentionally as a matter of fact. I am actually paying a considerable amount of money each month for servers, software, tools, etc. just to bring people information. I even pay for a statistic tool that could easily be replaced with a free google tool, which on the other hand would compromise your privacy to some extent.

So I had to change some things to have time to focus on the actual content again and not on keeping sites and software updated. And there you have it: I am more or less consolidating all of my sites into one. The new home is the Casual Friday Club, it will be home for all things gin (a.k.a. gingingin.de, gin.show) and the socials will also be consolidated (Instagram, Youtube). But for that the Club needs some more love and templates / functions. And that is what I am building as you read this.

Can I have a look at the new site?

Of course! I would love to show you around and hear your thoughts. Just send me a message and I will offer you a few time slots for a quick video call. And it does not matter whether you are a newbie or someone who landed here 'by accident' or whether you follow for a long time already. Should you be a brand representative I am happy to show you where you could exist in the new club as well.

What will change and when is it ready

A lot will be different, the focus will shift back onto the content side of things, your inbox will receive regular updates again, and yes I will take sponsorships aboard to make it all possible. There will even be options to have a real membership with added benefits and yes, some fee attached to it, which however will pay off right away for 99.9% of the people the moment they click pay. Stay curious and for the first 100 subscribers it will be a free ride for some time anyway, because you trusted me early. And no strings attached. You will never be charged of course without your consent. So fear not, it is safe to subscribe today!

On when it will be ready I am not sure yet. It will take some time, a few weeks for sure, maybe even until the end of the year. This is not another quick idea, I am dedicating real time and money to it. I want this to be good, really good. And that needs a bit of time and love. Nevertheless, a bit part of the code is ready, as I am writing this some checks for accessibility are running in the background on a feature you will like a lot and I cannot wait to share all the ideas with you.
